DGR Dangerous Goods Function 7.2 Initial/Recurrent Training (General Cargo Acceptance Process Personnel)

Purpose of Training:
This course covers the responsibilities of staff in the General Cargo acceptance process in 'Dangerous Goods Transport' by air, according to IATA's DG Training Guide.
Target Audience: New entrants to the sector, its acceptance as General Cargo, personnel responsible for its handling, those working in the handling, storage and loading of general cargo in the airline and ground services, supervisors and operation management.
Content of the Training:
· Identification and Classification of Hazardous Substances
· Screening of Hidden Dangerous Goods in cargo and mail
· Packaging and documentation control of undeclared dangerous goods
· Emergency procedures
· Identification of hazardous substances
· Reporting hazardous material accidents
· Significant changes and corrections in the latest edition of the IATA DGR
Duration of Training: 6 lesson hours
(Our course is provided as classroom training, virtual live online training and on-site training for companies).
Technical requirements: Please check your hardware, software and network before your DGR Training. Stable Internet connection, Laptop or desktop computer, at least Windows 10 or Macintosh (Mac OS X 10.7+), Mobile (Safari or Google Chrome), microphone/headset, webcam required.
Prerequisites: None
Certificate: IATA SDA Certificate and General Directorate of Civil Aviation DGCA approved certificate. Valid for 24 months. The passing score is at least 80.
