Purpose of Training:
This course is recommended for 'Personnel Responsible for Applying DG Packages and Labels of Dangerous Goods Shipments' by air in accordance with IATA's DG Training Guide. This course gives you the opportunity to work with other experienced hazardous materials professionals as you refresh your knowledge and skills.
Target Audience: New entrants to the sector, Freight forwarders, Consolidators and Cargo Agencies' DG Package preparing staff. Shippers and packers who prepare DG packages, Operator's shipping personnel, Manufacturers and exporters of products containing DG.
Content of the Training:
·Significant changes and corrections in the latest edition of the IATA DGR
·Legal responsibilities of key stakeholders
·Reviewing the implementation of relevant sections of the current IATA DGR
·The importance of correct identification and classification of hazardous substances
·Preparation and shipping requirements of DG packages
·Safety implications and net quantity limitations of packaging types
·End-to-end communication of hazards and handling requirements using accurate signs and labels
·Packaging, marking and labeling requirements: UN specifications, limited quantities and other packaging
Duration of Training: 1.5 days (9 lesson hours)
(Our course is provided as classroom training, virtual live online training and on-site training for companies).
Technical requirements: Please check your hardware, software and network before your DGR Training. Stable Internet connection, Laptop or desktop computer, at least Windows 10 or Macintosh (Mac OS X 10.7+), Mobile (Safari or Google Chrome), microphone/headset, webcam required.
Prerequisites: None
Certificate: IATA SDA Certificate and General Directorate of Civil Aviation DGCA approved certificate. Valid for 24 months. The passing score is at least 80.
