Purpose of Training: The main purpose of the course is to ensure that Luggage handlers are knowledgeable about safety-related practices and apply them as part of their duties.
Target Audience: New entrants to the industry, personnel responsible for manual searches
of under-aircraft baggage and cargo.
Content of the Training:
Purpose of education
Responsibilities and duties of baggage/cargo loaders
Entry control regulations at airports
Personnel screening requirements
Questioning of people who do not have their entry cards visibly in the baggage separation area (under the chute).
Aircraft cargo/hold section security check/search
Protection of luggage in baggage separation areas and ramp section
Transportation of company mail and supplies
Passenger baggage matching (bingo cards, under-flight baggage manifest, etc.)
Baggage of passengers not boarding the plane, Transit/Transfer passengers and their baggage
Protection of aircraft
Access control to the aircraft, Control of persons approaching the aircraft
Oversized luggage
Under-aircraft baggage manifest/list, Under-aircraft baggage
Baggage procedures to be flown unaccompanied, Accepting unaccompanied baggage
Confirmation that unaccompanied baggage has been scanned, Protection of under-aircraft baggage
Procedure to be applied in case of malfunction of under-aircraft baggage scanning devices
Security checks applied to cargo, Protection of cargo

What to do in case of a bomb threat,
What to do in case of a bomb during the flight, on the ground or during the flight , Least risky bomb area
